28Oct2005:

had breakfast on a ship on Hangang River.

the restaurant...

then to our first destination for the day:

the Presidential Blue House

just stopped there for a while.. it's out-of-bounds.

then to the the shop selling Korean Ginseng.. then lunch... thn to the Amethyst Factory.. then to the Dong Cong Xia Cao shop.

then.... Lotte World adventure park!
the have the outdoors...

how it looks from the monorail.. they filmed a part of Full House here.. rmb the running scene where there were loads of fans chasing after Rain?

it's crowded.. it's even drizzling.

Lotte world...

and soon.. we're getting inside...

how it looks like inside. i could choose from mock hot-air ballon like the ones seen on the top left (loads of lights) or something more friendly like the monorail. haha.. btw if u notice.. at the bottom left u'd see a white patch.. tht's actually the skating rink where they filmed the ice-skating scenes in Full House... and it's 2 storeys high... the sides surrounding it are restaurants and shops... i remember seeing fast-food.

we took the Adventures of sinbad thingy.
Thennn....

Stairway to Heaven.. muahaha. and we did take the wooden horses.

but till now. my cam's died. low battery.. much rather NO batt.

anyways we were to told just walk and around and stuff until meeting the rest to the Folk Museum for the Taekwondo performance. so we just got ourselves ice-cream... seriously.. the ice-cream in Korea is nice.. it's seriously worth the try.. and we saw little kids ice-skating.. and some spinning...haha.

didnt get to take the pics of the miniature exhibits on the various festivals and the palaces of korea... cos like i said.. sighs my cam batt died.
but did take the Taekwondo Performance before dad's cam died too.

hah!

lucky mom and dad.. of all the couples the demonstrators picked mom and dad to try out the tradition wedding steps.. on is tht dad has to carry mom... and ermmm.. yah.

anyways..
we had dinner which was Bibimbap and then went to the nearest 7-eleven to get our breakfast for the next day.. and then went back to the Hotel for the night.. which was the same hotel as yesterday.

there was a machine in the 7-eleven that works like an atm which also works for cards from various countries... how does it feel using ur POSB card and using a korean machine and getting korean won.
ohh and i also saw the xin1 xin1 la1 mian4 in the 7-eleven.. haha...

tml's the home-sweet-home day.
