it's coming along....

25Oct2005:
we had breakfast at a chinese restaurant..

the chinese restaurant we had our breakfast..

then we went to catch our flight form Jeju to Taegu.. which was delayed due to bad weather conditions.. luckily we werent delayed for a very long time..

i took this out of boredom.. there's a crowd.. sighs.

least we got that settled. Taegu is where most of the tombs of the monarchs or royal families are. and their tombs are like little hills which we saw on our ride to the place for our lunch.. for lunch.. we had.. bbq. muahahha..

our lunch.. dad tried pouring the kimchi on it and mixed everything together.. it tasted even betterr.

we then went to the Chomsangdae Observatory which is supposed to be the very first observatory in the world. the ancestors are clever.

the observatory..

we then hopped onto the bus and took our long long ride to the Sokkuram Grotto.
it was seriously long.. and kept going round and round.. wells, cos it was on a hill or something.... and tht hill isnt all that short..
btw the Sokkuram Grotto is a temple with a Buddha statue in it. the people are clever to have covered it with a hut, therefore not so obvious. we had to walk quite a distance to get there.. and koreans are seriously very strong people.

this is the view from outside the temple.. it's rude to take photos in the temple itself..

then we went on to the Bulguksa temple nearby which is also a buddhist temple.. but it's architecture is marvelous.

this is how it looks like from the outside.

this is how it looks inside. there are quite a number of buildings here..

we then stopped at a little corner before we went to our next destination the Spa Valley.

a very grand- looking hotel at a distance. not the one we're staying at night though.

on the bus on the way to the spa valley, the tour guide said that when they went into the spa valley all of them are supposed to be naked with only a small towel.. expect to hear aihhh and oohhhhs.. haha but it seemed that they had a good time there.. i didnt go in.. because of... some reasons.. but i had a great talk with the rest.. and we had ice-cream.. ice-cream before dinnerr.. haha yes, snacking. anyways we had shabu shabu at the spa valley before heading for our hotel..

Taegu Grand Hotel..

the hotel.. ahh the bus in greennish is our coach.

the end of day 4.
next day coming soon.
