Jiayous = go on! do it!
i'm getting crazy.. seems like determination's found its way into my brain.
haha.
listening to unwritten while doing this againn.
ironic.
okay.. on to moreeee.

24Oct2005:
this day is my birthday.
morning call at 7.00am.
meet the rest at 8.00am.

cant help but post this. this is outside the Lotte World, Jeju hotel we stayed for the night.

had the korean delicacy abalone porridge for breakfast.. along with the side dishes that the koreans cant ever think of meals without them.
it's made with abalone grinded into powder and cooked with the rice.

the restaurant we had our abalone porridge breakfast.

then to the Seowipo World Cup Stadium which is huge.
koreans are very united. it is said that during the world cup many koreans would meet each other at the 'times square' in korea and watch the matches from the bigTVs.

it's seriously huge.. and it's like a maze.

Then to the Sunrise Peak (where samsoon climbed up... in my name is kim samsoon).
this place gets the best view of jeju.

this is halfway up there from the sunrise peak... wells, i was tired, mom was too.. so only dad climbed up. haha. and the wind was STRONG.

this is how the view looks like at the top of the sunrise peak, poached it from dad's cam. muahaha.

we also went to the nearest convenience store to get some milk. cos the one from jeju's supposed to be seriously good. and i tried.. the verdict? it IS good.
we later went to the Tangerine Farm, some people also bought chocolates.. cos it's a speciality too.. and they come in many different kinds.. cactus, orange, blah blah...

this little fella (butterfly) was having a great time.

this is where we had our lunch.. barbecued pork.. the one in the red-black jacket is out tour guide and the one next to her is our tour memberr...

Then we went to the Seongeup Folk Village ( where part of dae jang geum was filmed, or much rather our guide there was a one of those people walking around without any dialogue. haha and she's cute.

there's meaning to this.. all 3 poles up means the owner is out. 2 poles up and 1 down means that the owner is at the neighbour's, will be back in an hour. all 3 poles down means that welcome to visit and the owner is at home.

the traditional toilet.. the stick is to get the piggies away..

see.. the piggiess

and they sold honey and lingzi. real honey according to them is not soluble in waterr. Then we went to the Mysterious Road..

bottle and stuff u put it moves up the road.. it's an illusion. cos actually the road's going down.

a typical stall in korea selling snacks.

then we went to the Halla Aboretum.. which has plants and flowers of various kinds..

haha i just felt this tree was... interesting.

the leaves are redding. wells, it's autumn!

we then went to Tapdong street which is known as a night market cos most shops in Jeju close at 8pm yet Tapdong closes at 10pm.. and the things here are... any jacket's $200 and it's brandless.. and korea's the second country wuth the highest standards in living.. go figure. then we had dinnerrr..

Dinnerrrrrrrr... it's fish.

then we went to our hotel for the night..

its called Crowne Plaza Hotel i think. we keep shifting every night.. good thing is we can experience different hotels, the bad thing is.. we've got to lug our luggage down to the lobby..

btw did i mention i was the youngest in the group..

haha thanks to poly holidays.

gonna work on the next soon..
