15march2007
was supposed to meet fel.
but she went for high tea.
pei nee asked for company to go to bugis.
i felt like going out too.
and she went to help her mom 'bai bai'.
so we went to the temple.
i waited outside cos there was this massive crowd.
people we just pushing and trying their best to squeeze into the temple.
and there were loads of ash on the floor.
anyways we decided to go to bugis to roam.
bugis street was extremely crowded.. so we just walked in the shopping mall.
we went in circles and went to see the jap magazines.
which was crazy.
cos we were trying so desperately hard to figure out just what the magazines were writing. and all we could identify are the names.
and the pictures.
the good thing is i am convinced that for any jap matters, the shop's great.
anyways. we were seriously tired. and i was suffering from a bloated tummy from my big breakfast.
and that was when the desperate looking for seats began.
but the most interesting part wasnt all that.

it is when we were sitting there facing the main road, we spotted a very interesting man with his very interesting fashion carrying this vvery expensive professional camera and trying to find his way. he later sat next to us and took out his travelogue that is totally in korean and started looking around. then he approached us and ask:

tourist: how to go to malayoun?
lw: errrrr (looks at pei nee, pei nee shakes head)
tourist then starts to open his bag and takes out that book that is in korean again and points at the teeny winny picture of the merlion.
lw: ohh. ermm. that place is very far.
tourist: ohh. long walking distance? walk? walk?
lw: er.. too far to walk. you can take the mrt. (points at the mrt station opposite)
tourist: mrt? ohh. ok ok. thank you.

seriously. his english is alr very good.
i remembered when i went to korea 2 years ago almost nobody understood a single word of english.
i heard that that's because they are more theory and less practical.
but i realised they understood chinese better.

anyways. we decided to go to hmv at citylink mall since we didnt want to roam around bugis any longer.
and we met mr korean.
but he was heading to the merlion park so we went on separate ways.

anyways as usual. i miss 1 train before being able to squeeze into the second packed train.
and was stoning till 10.30pm.

seriously. i was wondering where in hell is the jalan simpang bedok.
i do remember going to the shop and save.
and that was at least 10 years ago.
so wells, i felt a little lost.
anyways.
we didnt go to jalan simpang bedok for supper.
instead it was east coast lagoon.
and a crazy game of bowling at 12am.
but i reached tired.
took a shower and slept at 3am.

and i'm still tired now.
i still feel like sleeping.
grah.
granny's coming back to sg tml at 10pm.
i have to check when's aunt say coming back.
woo.
and i'm looking forward to more idling next week.
i seriously still think i should find a job.

brush with fate.
