i'm broke nuts.
it's like how they say..
money just seems to go endlessly.
but i dont know how & why.
managed to get skinnies yesterday when accompanying fuling in getting her cny clothes.
went to orchard today with val and bh.
am quite upset with my new specs.
i dont know
i look exceptionally weird.
sighs.
gotta get used to it.
but it's hard.
least the old one looked more normal.
and it's a difference of 25 degrees.
sighs.
maybe i should get contacts soon.
but wait. i'll look even weirder.
tmr's tp career fair.
and thn there's the ntu talks on sat.
sighs the clothes are still not coming yet.
patience.

Saturday
met mstan.
went to the arthouse.
but didnt manage to catch the complaints choir project.
stoned at the cafe.
went to merlion park, only to realise that they had cancelled the event.
wanted to stone in piano room at the esplanade but it was fully booked.
went walking around the esplanade
at the link to the citylink mall from the esplanade saw something terrible.
one of the exhibits was inspired by a guy who saw or was in it, i'm not sure, a groups of 16 beating 6 teens up at 3am in the morning. (pardon me if i got the statistics wrong but the story's correct).

it's cold. dont you feel it when u go swim in the pool, humans? omg she's stalking again! gotta show the look.
the saloon's made me into a elvis look-alike. am i supposed to smile or feel upset about not being able to see?

rambles
flsm project's hanging in the mid-sky.
it's neither completed nor untouched.
deadline's soon though.
which means the rushing would start all over again.
the only difference is that this time the project's 60% of the total assesssment.
sad. but true.
today was the sentosa interview.
was nervous and felt weird.
close to barfing.
i'm pretty sure i sounded nervous.
with the stattering and stumbling when i started.
was better after some time. the guy's nice.
not sure about whether i'll nail the job.
but still.

LTA Projects Exhibition(16Jan2008)
at their LT for the presentation and stuff. it was pretty obvious the ppl around us were from rp.. the shouts and all.
Our booth(no.10) with some plates from the lunch(we were really hungry). and the com i had to lug from tanah merah to woodlands.
agora hall 1&2, there were 24 booths. the 2 red tables in the middle were the buffet tables. and lots of guests.
the CNA ppl interviewing one of the winning team.
i woke up at 6.30am
feeling all tired and rusty.
barely climbed off the bed to take a shower.
packed my laptops and stuff and hopped onto dad's car for a ride to bedok MRT station.
took the train all the way to woodlands.
met peinee and fuling.
made our way to woodlands on 169.
lost our way when finding the agora hall 1&2 to set up our booths.
anyway, we did manage to find our way and set up our booths after all.
saw joyce,yufen and danny.
stoned till mr augustine thong asked if we wanted to sit in and go for the talk instead of waiting.
packed our laptops and went to LT-W2 .
guest-of-honour came, saw the presentation of the different groups. (TP rawks! muahaha)
rushed back to the hall afterwards for the exhibition.
introduced project to ppl.
saw CNA interviewing the winning teams (TP still rawks!)
had lunch.
settled everything.
lugged bags and left republic poly.
went to causeway point with peinee and fuling.
reached home at 3plus.
stoned, slept, stared.

so you could imagine how much of a frenzy i got into on thurs.

about a week ago/few days ago
i went to zouk with ms tan for an event she had to cover.
went there as a photog (overrated).
dont know if i did the job well. it was weird and dark and all.
but the event was fantastic.
it was for swatch's newest collection.
and we saw celebs and a friend who's gotten haggard(or maybe he just looks, but still his job rawks).
anyway, we went to terminal 3 after the event..
nice/conventional/cool.

2007
was a fruitful year.
many things happened and many things fulfilled.
well, i got my braces and i got my earholes.
i went to krystal's church camp,
worked in aunt's company in malaysia,
church's 100,000 blessings,
helped at the childcare concert (like all the other years),
went to the images of singapore(again)&chinatown heritage center&Singapore City Gallery.
did loads of project and finished my major project.
senosa luges and skyrides,
mom went to hk with aunt,
there was the labrador park thing,
etc..
and also deaths:
weichoo's death,
my neighbour's death,
and also lots of other people i know and celebrities and so.
but all in all, 2007 felt like the longest year ever to pass.
maybe it's the bad stuff that happened.
maybe it was the stress and all.
but i'm looking forward to 2008, which has alr started but wells.
movies anyone? hailing the movies of 2007(only part of the stubs, misplaced the rest)

FCBC Countdown party @ Max pavilion.

There was this queue....
it was packed and others had to sit on the floor at the front.
and so when it was 1Jan2008, the balloons came flying down.. and the disco ball's put to good use.

reminiscing 2007
things i've done:
1.got braces
2.got earholes
3.registered for driving
4. finished my major project
new year resolutions:
1. find faith
2. finish driving
3. 'academic future'
4. learn one language.
5. go for a course.
this year's been sort of fruitful.
mainly cos i've managed to see lots of people.
and there were various experiences, e.g. krys' church camp.
becuase i havent been there in a really long time.
and being able to spend time with the people there and just being at the place brings back a lot of memories.
no thanks to the bugs and roaches though.
but it feels different.
i mean the old dark alley that used to be isolated and had bats have been converted into classrooms.
it was nice meeting the people that i met when i was 8 and still recognise me.
and go 'hi.. i still remember u.. u're so big now'
it's nice and sweet.
and know a lot more other really nice people too..
e.g. chee hong the teacher, linda my group leader.. and many others.
and even some pople tht used to be or are still in tp.
church coutdown was superb.
there was this reallly long queue to get in.
and many thought it was chc.
turned out that it was the fcbc queue for the coutdown party.
and seriously,
it IS a PARTY.
the torches are really cool.
i do mean COOL.
cos it shows fcbc when u shine it.
haha.
and they gave out the stuff that u hit together like those of team singapore.
and seriously.
it was a whole night of rocking and having fun.
darren lim and evelyn tan has this video of their testimonial.
eelyn kok, esther ong ai leng and jessica liu went on stage.
and countdown time was madness and gleeful.
worship was superb as usual.
and it ended at 12.30am.
haha.
am praying that 2008 would be better than 2007.
