set out early for the cu chi tunnels since it takes really long to get there. saw the whole array of traps, brutality and cleverness for war. there were living quarters, mini hospitals, kitchens and all. and i tried shooting for real. and seriously it was loud. blaring to the ears. but surprisingly fun. hahha. and this is one of the entrances to the tunnels. apparently it is made larger alr. since the people before, the viet tong (is it spelt this way?), were small in size, sort of less than 165cm.
there are lots of other pictures. but i'm lazy. hhaha.
they were selling snake wine. which seriously. is a cobra. as in yah. SNAKE WINE>
anyway, after that it was the long ride back.... and so the camera became my confidant again. hahha.
we were near the countryside..
and starting to get sleepy. (i know i am over-using the sepia thing in the camera. yah. but still... it's nice.)
and so we headed for lunch.
i saw bill clinton's photo in there!
we had pho dong (pronounced as fur dong). it's beef soup noodles by the way. the viets are famous for it too.
accompanied with veggies and mint leaves. and yah it was nice.
it was shopping again and thn on our way to the airport. there wasnt much to shop in saigon though. sighs/
and well it was home sweet home (: and back to the bigger cathay in singapore. hahahaa.
